I bought the VL-81 LED Video Light, and it’s been amazing for both my photos and videos. The color accuracy is spot on (CRI95+), and I love that you can adjust the color temperature from warm to cool (3200K-5600K) depending on what look you want. It’s super easy to use and gives you a nice, even light, especially with the included softbox, which helps avoid harsh shadows.
The rechargeable battery lasts a long time, so I don’t have to worry about it dying mid-shoot. I also like that it’s dimmable, so I can adjust the brightness to fit the mood. It’s small, lightweight, and the cold shoe mount works great with my DSLR and GoPro.

Very bright light
This night is the perfect size for portability, the battery lasted roughly 2.5 hours of continuous light. I like the cold shoe option and the ability to mount it in my tripod.

Light up the life of your Macro images
I use this in conjunction with a short handle and 12" round reflector both available on Amazon, to light my outdoor macro images. It is small... fits into a small belt pouch I wear, I use it as main light or as a backlight with 12" reflector main to achieve perfect lighting. I prefer it to flash as it is easier to see lighting effect. I use a tripod so slower shutter speeds are not a problem. You can adjust color temperature which is a nice feature at this price point. It has an internal rechargeable battery which is convenient.
